Tech Club
Tech Club Membership
Tech club has a limit of 16 students in two sessions during the year due to equipment restrictions. Sixteen Technology Club members will be selected through an application process that will include parent permission and teacher recommendation. The parent permission form will include behavior expectations, attendance requirements, user agreement and times for student pickup. Tech Club will be open to any 4th or 5th grade student in good standing, with a goal of selecting eight students from each grade level. Another goal for selecting students to participate in Technology Club will be to include non-traditionally performing students, such as behavior issues or special needs that may benefit from an additional avenue to learning.
Technology Club members and advisor will meet weekly after school for 75 minutes in the library. Students will use assigned ipads for projects and internet accessibility. The Tallmadge computer lab and digital cameras may also be used for additional resources.
